Graduate Student Ambassador Program (GSAP) Application

Questions marked with a * are required
The Graduate Student Ambassador (GSAP) Program is an opportunity for graduate students dedicated to mentorship and service as guided in Virginia Tech’s motto of Ut Prosim (That I May Serve) and expressed within the Principles of Community. Graduate ambassadors will work in partnership with ORDI, to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion events as well as assist within the recruitment and retention of various underrepresented and minoritized groups.
Graduate Ambassadors may expect to assist with Graduate School orientation, ORDI’s annual HBCU/MSI Research Summit, occasionally providing campus/departmental tours, mentoring new graduate students in their department or college, and promoting the graduate student community. Ambassadors will also serve as an important point of contact to graduate student applicants interested in their specific or similar affiliated department.
Graduate Students from all campuses are welcome to participate.
