Measure your inseam in four steps:

Stand with your back against a wall and your feet 6-8 inches apart.
Place a book vertically between your legs with the edge flat against the wall and the spine facing up.
Raise the book between your legs to where it fits snug but comfortably (this mimics your bike seat).
Have another person measure from the top of the book (spine) to the floor.
