The 11th annual Hume Center Colloquium, sponsored through our Intelligence Community Center for Academic Excellence (IC CAE) grant, will be full of exciting student and faculty presentations related to ongoing research and experiential learning programs from across multiple departments and colleges at Virginia Tech.
The theme of this year's colloquium will be "The Role of the Intelligence Community in a turbulent 2025-2075", and will showcase our students' continued endeavors to become the next generation of national security leaders.
The colloquium will showcase the research and experiential learning programs being conducted by our graduate and undergraduate students over this past academic year. Presentations and posters will cover topics on artificial intelligence and machine learning, cybersecurity, autonomy, secure communications, and other emerging technologies important to the intelligence and defense communities.
In addition to highlighting the achievements of our outstanding students, we are honored to host three senior leaders from the Central Intelligence Agency for a fireside chat during our keynote.
As the Hume Center continues to foster the cutting edge education and research for the leaders of tomorrow, we look forward to you joining us for
a day of invigorating presentations, panel discussions, and speakers on April 9, 2024. For additional information, please contact the Hume Center for National Security and Technology at humecenter@vt.edu.
