Health Professions Advising (HPA) offers students the opportunity to meet with an HPA advisor to review your progress toward preparing for your future as a health professional and to answer questions and concerns. To make the best use of your time, please complete the remainder of questions to the best of your current abilities and prepare for robust discussion by developing a list of your questions, concerns, and topics to cover in your meeting.Here is a list of items we encourage you to consider preparing for your advising meeting:
* A list of prepared questions, concerns, or topics to discuss with your HPA advisor
* Any necessary transcripts from Virginia Tech
* Any necessary transcripts from other undergraduate coursework, including dual enrollment
* Draft of your personal statement (if you have one)
* Updated resume (see format in the Career Quick Start guide: https://tips.career.vt.edu/Resumes/examples/HPAresume.html)
