2026-27 CNRE AMBASSADOR APPLICATION
Application Deadline: Sunday, April 19, 2026 @ 5:00PM

Requirements: Open to all CNRE students in any major, and freshman are strongly encouraged to apply. Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA. To remain in good standing, Ambassadors are expected to participate in the majority of the following recruitment activities (activities marked with an * are mandatory):

Mandatory Training* (see below)
Monthly Meetings (One each month from 5:30pm-6:30pm - days of the week may vary by semester)*
Weekend Open Houses (2 in fall, 2 in Spring - you are expected to do at least one per semester)*
Daily Information Sessions (occur throughout semester)*
Lunches with Prospective Students (occur throughout semester)*
VT Majors Fair*
CNRE Career Fair*
Calling Admitted Students*
Writing Postcards to Admitted Students*
High School Presentations*
Semesterly Check-ins with Supervisors*
On-campus Recruitment Events
Conference Exhibitions
High School Science Fairs
CNRE Awards Banquet
Other misc. CNRE Events
