2026 CEED Summer Employment

The Center for Engineering Excellence and Discovery (CEED) conducts summer programs which focus on engineering, math, and science applications. There are a number of positions available in each program. Dates of employment, job duties, and compensations vary by program and position. Full job descriptions, application instructions, and forms can be found here.
  • You will need to upload a resume as a PDF to the online application.
  • Applications will be reviewed and interviews scheduled on a rolling basis as they are received.
  • As a rule, summer camp employees may take ONE summer school class per 6-week session or TWO during the 12-week session if it does not interfere with work requirements. If you are offered a position with one of the summer camps, the offer will be contingent upon passing a background check.
Please read and note the following:
●      Dates of employment, job duties, and compensation vary by program and position.
●      Applicants are often offered multiple positions to make the summer worthwhile for students. For example, you may be a Program Assistant for C-Tech^2, BLAST and Imagination.
●      Students will work only as a Residence Hall Advisor or a Program Advisor for a given program, not both.
●      Students will be paid through the university payroll system; therefore, this amount is subject to taxes, social security, and other deductions.
●      Housing is NOT provided for non-Residence Hall Assistant positions.
●      All employees, office workers, are required to attend an in person training session on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Additional training is required for some positions and all employees must complete the online Working with Minors modules prior to the start of camp.
●      Camp participants frequently attend sessions located off the main campus. CEED rents 12-passenger vans and/or cars from Fleet Services to transport students. Because of this, a current driver’s license and a willingness to drive a 12-passenger van are preferred but not required. Practice driving time will be provided.
