Thanks to support from the Department of Defense’s Manufacturing Engineering Education Program, Virginia Tech is hosting a workshop to gain insight into industry and federal partners’ needs of the future defense industrial base (DIB) manufacturing workforce. The results of this workshop will be synthesized into a report that will be broadly disseminated, and will also be used to shape future curricular changes at Virginia Tech.

September 15: Afternoon lab tours with an informal evening kickoff event
September 16: Full day workshop, with dinner at the University Club overlooking Lane Stadium
September 17: Half day, including research presentations and additional lab tours
