Municipal Solid Waste
This is a survey conducted by Virginia Tech as part of a project designed to better understand the role of wood, wood pallets, and packaging in the waste stream.
Your response is confidential. Aggregated survey results will compare trends in landfill data, tipping fees, and recovery rates for the United States, but no information on individual firms will be reported. Furthermore, only the researchers at Virginia Tech will know which facilities provided answers and this information will never be shared.
If you feel that someone else in your organization is better qualified to answer these questions, please feel free to forward this questionnaire to that person. If you decline to answer, please send it back anyways so we can note that on our list. Please only fill out this survey for the facility where this form was received. Several of the questions require approximations and estimates, we understand that some of this information may not be recorded by your facility so please make your best attempt.
