Thank you for agreeing to be a reference letter writer for an undergraduate candidate applying to the 202e REACH REU program at Virginia Tech. The REACH REU provides research opportunities for a cohort of eight undergraduates during a 10-week summer research program. Selected undergraduates will work with their faculty mentors and graduate students to advance the science of reactive metals and polymeric binders used as the building blocks of modern energetic materials.
Your input and comments about the applicant's experience and capacity to conduct research is an extremely important part of our application review process. We greatly appreciate your sincere assessment of the applicant. Students applying to the REU program must have two reference letters submitted by February 24, 2023 at 5:00 pm Eastern Time.
