Academic Integrity Education Module
Welcome to the Academic Integrity Education Module. This is Part 1: Virginia Tech Seminar.
All members of the University community must be committed to promoting a culture of academic integrity and upholding the Honor Code.
Academic integrity preserves the quality of your education and protects the value of the degree that you will receive from Virginia Tech. Therefore, it is important for all members of the University community to actively prevent academic misconduct from occurring.
As a student, when you engage in honest work, you are able to go out and be a successful contributor in your respective field and to society. The purpose of this module is to provide you with an overview of the honor code at Virginia Tech and resources available to help you become a successful student both in and out of the classroom.
This module can be completed at your own pace. You can save your work and come back to the module at any time. This module is designed to be self-reflective. There are no right or wrong answers, but you will be evaluated on the effort spent on your responses. This module is not designed to explain why you are not responsible for your violation or your personal opinions on the honor system. The goal is to provide you with a learning opportunity and some personal self-reflection.
The Office of Undergraduate Academic Integrity will be reviewing all responses.
